MEET KIM

I have lived in the Pacific Northwest since 1978. In 1990, I attended Pacific University in Forest Grove and received a bachelors of fine Arts. After college, I worked for an advertising agency in Portland Oregon as a Creative Director.

After many years, I began to miss sculpting and working with my hands. Therefore, in 2000, I pursued a career in the dental field as a technician creating crowns and bridges.

It wasn’t until 2015, that I finally found myself in a position in my life that I could work for myself and pursue my dream of ceramic sculpting.

I’ve always loved the topics of cryptids and weird unexplained things in our world and I attribute my desire of sculpting oddities to being raised on horror and monster films, as well as coming from a family that has experienced numerous paranormal events throughout my life.
